Iran has made its first 3d short film entitled “The Chicken King”, IRNA (Islamic Republic News Agency) reported.

Producer of the film Mehdi Madanian noted at the press-conference that it is the first film completely made in 3D in Iran.

He added that the film was made in Iran’s Isfahan city, it is completely in Persian language, and it is planned to send it to the U.S. 3D film festival.

He noted that among 70 million people of Iran, 41 million of them are young people.

Madanian underscored that more of Iran’s younger people must actively participate in country’s cinema sphere, and especially 3D. Madanian also said that the film will soon be shown at country’s 4D cinema theaters.

In February 2012, Iranian film “Separation” directed by Asghar Farhadi received an Academy Award as the best “Foreign Film”.
